There are plenty of videos of the Professor World Band in the Public Gardens on youtube. Here's also a link to my buddy Jeff, another one man band who also plays there. Although we are both from Connecticut we first met in Zurich Switzerland over fifteen years ago

It's been a fun summer for me. I'm still adding new crazy instruments and gizmos to the Peace Wave Generator and coming up with some exciting new sounds. I've been tweeting most of the time where one can see the Professor World Band in action but almost always on a nice weekend you can usually find me somewhere in the Public Gardens; usually under a shady tree when it's as hot as it's been this summer! Please follow me though on Twitter at ProfWorldBand. It's part of a competition where I'm trying to get more followers than Justin Bieber! Enjoy the rest of the summer and come on down to see the Professor World Band in action. Grab a tambourine and some bells and shakers and join the band. I've also got plenty of hoola-hoops and I'm always hoping for hoopers. Don't forget I love chocolate. If you love chocolate too ask me to sing my chocolate song for you next time you see the Peace Wave Generator in action. Always remember; Only those who attempt the absurd achieve the impossible! http://youtu.be/bq3Kwdl1Amg

Just thought I'd check in and keep this current. Things have been going well for the Professor World Band. It's been a wet week so I've been working on some new additions to the band down in the workshop at my coop. I still feel I'm getting better and better and the best is yet to come. The weekend is supposed to clear up so I'm looking forward to getting out and playing in the Boston Public Gardens. I could use a few more Twitter followers at ProfWorldBand to make it worth my while so please sign up. Here's another photo from the Public Gardens. These dogs with me are in training so their trainers exposed them to the Professo World Band in full action mode to see if they would remain calm. They passed the test with flying colors.

Now tweeting at ProfWorldBand

This is brand new. I finally got a smart phone and plan to start tweeting the times and locations where the Professor World Band will be playing. So if you want to find us in action just look for us on Twitter.com at Prof WorldBand. I haven't got a whole lot of followers as of yet so sign up now to be one of the first.

Things have been going well for the Professor World Band. I've added lots of new features and gizmos and the reception I've been getting is better than ever. It was a really mild winter for Boston and I managed to play many times here when normally I would not have expected to be able to. Aside from that, I also got a permit to play in the T here. I'm working on a couple of smaller shows that will be more appropriate for the subway. One of them involves a fiddle playing monkey marionette that's connected to my violin and bow that plays along with me. It's a good way for me to practice my fiddle and earn a few extra bob while I am at it. Sometimes I take my hang drum down in the T. When a train is not passing through the acoustics are really good in some of the stations. It can be fun at times but all told I prefer to be outside when the weather permits.

Another project I will start to work on now is trying to arrange a gig with Sesame Street where the Professor World Band will play a song with the Muppets. I've long been a fan of the show and I think Professor World would go over very well on it. Seeing my one man band in action is something that can inspire kids to build crazy fun machines. The message of the Peace wave Generator is also very appropriate for a kids show. So if anyone has any ideas on how to get connected with Sesame Street please let me know and let them know about me as well.
